Memorial Day Parade

Grandpa accompanied us to Chloe's very first pancake breakfast and parade. It was a big hit! She loved to wave her little flags and point out all the trucks and cars. Her eyes were glued on the street for 40 minutes.

relaxing sunday

Chloe is getting so big! We find ourselves hoping she never outgrows this stage. She is extremely talkative and is using sentences and many of our sayings. She has begun to read her beloved books back to us, which is a real treat. I don't think I ever realized just how much she comprehended until the last couple of talkative weeks. It's really quite amazing. She likes to tell us everything she is thinking and we love to hear every minute of it!

a little dress up

I am truly amazed at the relationship that has formed between Chloe and her beloved "Ike." Sometimes I think her world revolves around him. He is the subject of most of her conversation and he is the only one that can wake her happily from sleep. She demands to be with him daily.
I think this photo perfectly sums them up: Isaac is happy-go-lucky, Chloe, while happy, can be a bit intense.

besties at the zoo

What would we do without them?!

There is only one man brave enough to put Chloe in her place when she is climbing too slowly up the play structure. And there is only one little woman who wouldn't mind his climbing over her!
